NexHR are delighted to share a new opportunity we have for a Sales Account Manager/Sales Executive. The client prides themselves on delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to their customers globally in the pulp and paper, leather, and water treatment sectors to help boost productivity, reduce risk, improve product quality, and provide a measurable return on investment.

This role is fully remote, but the candidate must be based with a commutable distance of the clients main sites.

The role is focused primarily on growing sales in this territory and supporting existing business and customers. This position is critical to supporting the customer base of the region while actively focused on providing value to the customer and increase profits in the territory.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Increase sales through relationship building and product knowledge

Retention of existing business

Generates Continuous Improvement Initiatives

Using subject matter expertise to troubleshoot and problem solve

Establishing relationships at all levels based on faith and trust

Results driven decision making while maintaining company values

Use sales tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date account information

Submitting required reports in a timely manner.

Continuing education and self-training by taking advantage of training opportunities

Maintaining consignment inventory

Effective Planning and Preparation Obtaining and using knowledge of customers’ systems Support Team Initiatives and Support Team Members needs

Activity (Service) Reports are distributed regularly.

Main Success Metrics

  • MPC generation at new customer accounts
  • MPC metrics in KPM tracked quarterly
  • Safety Leader
  • Successful trial/business conversions
  • New accounts/ programs gained in KPMs, tracked quarterly
  • Highly involved with sales funnel planning and tracking with Sales Manager or Strategic Account Leader

Minimum Requirements to Apply

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university
  • Pulp & Paper, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Biology.
  • 3 to 5 years + proven sales record and or years related experience and/or training, or
  • 3 to 5 years + of experience working in related industries.
  • Successful selling record, preferably in chemical sales.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Fluent French speaking with conversational English

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 to 10 years + proven sales record and or years related experience and/or training
  • Large account management experience – 3+ MM sales/year
  • Consignment inventory and billing experience
  • Solid understanding of smart digital solutions and can identify customer opportunities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of business/finance and terminology desirable.
